Matthew 10:5-6 KJV
[5] These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
[6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
The first time I heard the use of the expression “go for the low hanging fruits” was in a class or session, that supposedly, was to help us set personal goals and work towards them.
I think I liked it there and then. It sounded cool to me 😎 and probably made more sense. Perhaps, that’s why I still remember till today and employ it in most situations in my working life.
Apparently, Jesus had deployed the same strategy thousands of years ago, while grooming His disciples for Ministry. He had no ill feelings for Gentiles and Samaritans, He only believed those were not low-hanging enough for His new recruits. They could be tackled later when muscles had been developed. 😅

Be careful not to frustrate beginners, or younger colleagues in church or at work with tasks meant for your level. (Don’t force the young intercessor to do three hours straight because you do same). You may rather cripple their faith and send them tumbling down the hill.
Have a blessed day. #CarllyDevotionals
