Acts 13:27 KJV
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
A story was told of a janitor in a high school who was actually a war veteran. The students never knew this till he received a Medal of Honor from the president.
Things changed after that, some students would now pause to greet him and have a word with him. Generally, they became nicer to him and he became noticeable altogether, now that they “knew him.”
Paul the Apostle, in his address to the people at Pisidia in Antioch, pointed out one reason why the leaders of their time killed Jesus: because they KNEW HIM NOT!
If the leaders had caught that revelation, well, at least we know the treatment would have been different.

Just like Pharisees, most of us know Him not. The invitation today is to have a proper look at him, not a cursory one, and develop that personal relationship like the school kids and their janitor. He knows those who know Him and such He calls faithful wise stewards in His return.
Have a blessed day #CarllyDevotionals
