Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

I remember a story that was told of West and East Germany in the times of their civil war. One party decided to dump rubbish and all manner of stinking garbage over the wall.

When everyone expected West Germany to react in a worse way, the unthinkable happened. They rather sent in goodies and all manner of nice things, with a note attached that read: “Everyone gives what they have”

How much love are you pouring out there? How much of what you have are you giving? Is what you are giving benefiting those who receive?
