LOVE IN ACTION – Thu, Jun 06, 2019

Song of Solomon 5:2 KJV

I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.

A look at the first few lines of this verse kept me smiling for a while. “I sleep but my heart waketh; it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh.”

If you’ve ever fallen in love, then I’m sure this statement resonates well with you. You may never have an explanation for why this is the case, so did King Solomon. A friend once told me that once she saw a missed call notification on her phone, she bangs her feet and shouts, “how did I miss this call?”

These feelings are simple basic characteristics of one definitely in love, which is why it is difficult to understand/believe that we love God, when our actions say otherwise. Love is a difficult thing to hide.

If you love Him, your responses to things concerning Him tells it all, period! “No long tinz”
Profess your love in deed, not just in words.

Have a blessed day.
