Psalm 134:1-2 KJV
Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
[2] Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
Not long after I had given my life to the LORD, I started listening to tapes of various preachers on my walkman. I remember one of such messages had a peculiar title: “Giving to the Giver” by Reverend Eddy Addy in the year 2002.
Interesting as the title was, my perception of giving changed after listening to the tape many times. In the whole of this Psalm, the author just makes one request; which is for you and I to bless the LORD.
Saying it is actually easier than imagining.
Would you picture God kneeling before you with your hands stretched over his head and speaking into His life? 😁 Certainly not!!! These kind of blessings are the ones we offer with our time and our substance. How much of your time you devote to Him is indicative of how much you want to bless Him, how much of your resources you shower on Him is indicative of how much you want to bless Him.
Let’s keep blessing Him while it is day, because the night will surely come when no man can do so. Make the effort to bless that man up there who keeps blessing us with every spiritual blessing daily.
Have a blessed day.
