Psalm 128:1-2 KJV
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord ; that walketh in his ways.
[2] For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be , and it shall be well with thee.
One of the happiest feelings one could ever have is the joy of enjoying what one has genuinely acquired; the proceeds from a very good deal with no question marks.
About 15yrs ago, we saw a wave of seminars after seminars that sought to help/groom people to create wealth for themselves. In the mix were gurus like Emmanuel Dei Tumi, the Data Bank Team and others who later became finance think tanks.
But we have come to know that it is one thing creating wealth and another thing enjoying them. Life may deal a heavy blow to anymore irrespective of bank accounts statuses. This is one of the reasons why this Psalm, i.e. Ps 128, is probably one of the most sung; every verse being a deep promise/ blessing for the children of God.
I pray you eat the labour of your hands; I pray your spouse becomes a fruitful vine by your side; I pray you see the good of the land the LORD has planted you so you shall see your children’s children and peace upon your house. 🙏🏿
Have a blessed day.
