1 Chronicles 20:5 KJV
And there was war again with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jair slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath the Gittite, whose spear staff was like a weaver’s beam.
Most “sakawa” tales have one thing in common; those who get involved usually are not able to appreciate the extent of their commitments at the onset, so get shocked at a point when a certain demand is made of them. They never saw it coming!!!
It is the craft of most deities to be cunning and never present things the way they really are: Superficial beauties with embedded thorns, so one can only regret when one has gone in deep, usually with no opportunity to return.
The same cannot be said of Jehovah God, the triune God. When He, through David, got Goliath out of the way, he made sure Elhanah dealt with Goliath’s brother. In fact all the other giants were taken care of by David’s men. No chance for surprise attacks and other reprisals. 1 Chr 20:4-8 details this out better.
It is refreshing to know that what/who you chose to believe in, takes care of your back, so you can sleep with your eyes closed, not with one eye opened. Choose wisely, only Jesus gives you this kind of insurance.
Have a blessed day.
