POSITIVITY AMIDST CRISIS – Fri, Apr 20, 2018

1 Samuel 26:24 KJV

And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the Lord , and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.

A times when things are a bit hard for me, I’m very open about them. I easily tell it as it is, especially to those to expect help from me and feel I’m just avoiding them. Unlike David, I fail to always speak positivity into the situation and declare a turn around.

David had been in the wilderness for sometime and the second time, the King, Saul, had come to hunt him down. The second time he spared the King’s life because he thought it was too precious to take.

So David remarked, “may God see my life as precious, same way I see the king’s life as so precious and deliver me from tribulations.” These words moved the King so much so that he declared, “Blessed be David, You shall do great things and shall still prevail.”

Even in hard times we must learn to speak positively. Such remarks don’t just spur us on but are able to spontaneously yield positivity from even those we don’t expect too, and together these go a long way to bless you and alleviate our frustrations.

Have a blessed Friday.
