Leviticus 22:24 KJV

Ye shall not offer unto the Lord that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

About 2 days ago when I was reading this same book, Leviticus, I came across a few rules for the priesthood. One rule caught my attention: That any priest with a blemish or was an eunuch could not offer the show bread.

Fast forward to today, Catholic Priests do not get married so one would think eunuchs would be best suited for this kind of job, but NO… The law is still upheld within the Church!!! Eunuchs are simply exempted from the priesthood.

This stands to reason that God indeed is a stickler for perfection. Though the offerings were burnt at the end of the day, He still didn’t want them bruised, crushed nor with any defect 🤔.

Imagine what could have happened if God simply overlooked this principle of His and allowed anything in, the unthinkable would indeed happen.
God wants the best so only offer your best, not your least.
