Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

On the pitch yesterday in the night, while playing football, my team had scored a number of goals and they were beautiful. We were in a very comfortable lead… until our man upfront said something to our defenders that didn’t sit well with one of them.
What ensued was a total disaster. The two went on and on till we lost the game miserably

A lot of such scenarios may happen in our walk with God. Paul the apostle admonishes that we know how to answer every man. This may be one of the most difficult things to do, but once mastered always yields very good returns.

Season your speech with salt and know how and when to answer every man. I pray for the grace of God for us all to master this art.
