Romans 16:3-4 KJV
Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
[4] Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
One Sunday morning, I chanced into a small church during my short stay in that little town called Poplar. The resident pastor preached on a topic I don’t think I can ever forget: Cease every opportunity to learn.
In his sermon, he pointed out that many of the situations that comes our way, whether good or bad, are usually meant for us to learn a thing or two from. Furthermore, he focused on the need to learn to appreciate people.
The roles people play in our lives vary from place to place. And once there are roles you must learn to appreciate those who play those roles irrespective of status. How often have you commended your wife for preparing dinner, or your husband for providing lunch?
When last did you appreciate the bus driver who never showed up late to pick you to work/school, or the cleaner who kept your desk clean? Christianity thrives when we learn to appreciate. Do your part and let me do mine.
Have a blessed day.
