Acts 21:31-32 KJV
And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
[32] Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.
I was driving home in a very tiny car one night, all the way from the Aflao border, to Ashongman Estates. It was late (around 11pm) and I was very tired. By the time I got to Ashongman, I was dozing off slowly behind the steer.
Sleep driving is such a dangerous endeavour. I was heading for a parked caterpillar by the side of the road when I woke up instantly, then veered off into the road again. Luckily, no car was approaching on either sides. If my eyelids has stayed close for an extra one second, I’d have been gone by now.
Paul knew what fate would befall him in Jerusalem, yet he went in there. But just when he was about to be lynched, roman soldiers appeared from nowhere and saved him. An extra minute of delay would have found him dead.
God protects his own and until He says “time up” no one can really wipe you out. I need you to remain His, so He can keep you from all dangers. I testify to this because it is true. Remain His so He can do more for you.
Have a blessed day.
