Luke 4:25-27 KJV
_But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;_
_[26] But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow._
_[27] And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian._
In a bible study group meeting I attended a few days ago, one member asked an interesting question before we left. He wanted to know why the “so called prophets of God” wouldn’t just storm hospitals and heal all the sick people there, if indeed they were prophets.
I know you may have heard similar questions if not made them yourselves.
Well, Jesus addressed and audience who thought same of Him with the responses above.
Indeed He performed no miracle in Nazareth, and scripture has it that He never returned there. Yet that never made Him less of a prophet.
Man can never define your calling if it is from God. Not by what they say or by their actions. Stick to your ministry, focus on the call, you are only accountable to God.
Have a blessed day.
