Zechariah 9:8 (KJV)
And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
Prophet Zechariah must have been loved by many of the Jews of his time, should I compare him with other prophets who prophesied doom. But we must know that Zechariah lived around the time the Jews had returned from Exile.
Through Zechariah’s prophesies, God promised much hope to all these Jews, who were once prisoners, (Prisoners of Hope). In fact, the entire chapter is littered with words of hope from the Lord, and in my opinion, one reason why this is so is because He saw everything with His eyes.
No situation is actually hidden from the Lord. You may be seeing very torrid times in your business / relationship now, but I can leave you with these direct word from God. He says “I have seen with mine eyes,” (Zech 9:8) and surely He has. I can testify of this in my own life, so I’m very positive of this.
On the day God decides to show His might in your life, you’d be totally surprised and may burst into tears like I did. Your King is approaching, “lowly, riding upon an ass” (Zech 9:9) with one purpose in mind; to intervene in your case, would you accept and embrace him?
