Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
[3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
The third verse of Habakkuk is probably the most quoted in this book among christian circles… “the vision is for an appointed time.”
Today I chose to meditate on the verse that precedes it and ended up with a paraphrase like this:
“Write the vision, make it plain and run with it.”
Many have abandoned visions not because they lacked the zeal and drive, but simply because they failed to note it down… so that indeed, when the appointed time came, they were nowhere to be found.
You should be able to write down that vision and develop strategies to get you to see it happen. This way you are likely not to miss the opportunity when it presents itself. Make sure you don’t tarry in vain.
Have a blessed day.
