Ezekiel 48:35 KJV
It was round about eighteen thousand measures : and the name of the city from that day shall be;
THE LORD IS THERE.
In what was Ezekiel’s last recorded vision, he saw the gates/exits of the new Jerusalem, on each of the four sides, of course with specific dimensions, and the name of the city boldly written thereon in Hebrew, JEHOVAH SHAMMAH.
I can imagine why most people (especially non jews) wanted to be there. In old movies of Crusaders, I always wondered why the heathens wanted to take over that City.
“Jehovah Shammah,” translates “The Lord is there” and so drew a lot of inquisition and curiosity. Everybody wanted to know and experience what indeed was there. Kings, wanderers, adventurers, champions, historians… the list goes on
Today “Jehovah Shammah” is inscribed on the hearts of those who will it, whose deeds clearly portray the presence of the Most High, which needs no crusader to defend.
Can you confidently make this profession?
Have a blessed day.
