Isaiah 48:1 KJV
Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

I don’t know if you have also noticed this on TV; One evening while I was flipping through the channels looking for something good to watch, I realised a good number of the digital stations had sermons going on.

I was a bit confused at first because it seemed like that time-belt had been allocated to pastors across the various digital platforms. I asked myself, “with all these messages from men of God, how come our country is not doing so well?”

A good percentage of the population of this country is Christian, and I know that yet a good number of this percentage is Holy Ghost filled, tongues speaking. Definitely something must not be right somewhere.

Could Isaiah’s words in Is 48:1 (See above) provide some insight into this? Are we a people who do just lip service and only exemplify the people Isaiah described above?
