Isaiah 40:28-30 KJV
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
[29] He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
[30] Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
This chapter reminds me too well of a song by Don Moen, “Like Eagles,” a song I’ve come to love so much
The verses, i.e. 28-30, are a prelude to one of the most popular verses in all of ‘Christiandom.’ …”those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…”
God empowers the weak, but these are those who consider themselves so. He renews the strength of those who consider themselves as faint and are not puffed up.
You can only mount up wings as eagles if you don’t have those ‘wings’ already. So clips yours if you need what He gives.
Have a blessed day.
