HIS EXPECTATIONS OF YOU – Thu, Dec 10, 2015

Isaiah 5:5, 7 KJV
And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

[7] For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

To think that somebody will purposely start up a project or campaign and actually expect nothing to come out of it is absolutely nonsensical. We all have expectations and Isaiah the prophet captures that beautifully in his short analogy in Isaiah 5:1-7

God ALSO has expectations, and they are about you, whom He has saved by the blood of His dear son. God expects you to yield good fruits just the way you expect your business to bring you good profits.

Same way shareholders lose interest in an unproductive venture, God may lose interest in you in the long run if you remain worthless to Him. “He may take away the hedge of protection” around you and break your walls (verse 5).

Being His vineyard, you have a responsibility to be productive. The master WILL come for His wine from you someday, and I pray you are able to provide Him some wine 🍷 when He comes.

Have a blessed day.
