Isaiah 4:1 KJV
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
Isaiah wrote these words at a time when God was not too happy with Israel and revealed what was going to soon become of them.
Indeed, that period is long gone, but if we shift the context, from ‘the End of the ancient Jewish era’ (by Babylonian or Medo-Persian Rule), to the End of Time, then Isaiah’s words would still be very relevant.
We witness Isaiah’s words verse 1 in our time today, when some women prefer to be single mothers right from the word go. Not to say they do not value the conventional family system, but circumstances, perhaps beyond their control, make this almost impossible to achieve. I have spoken to a number of women who subscribe to this, and would embrace the opportunity should it present itself.
They’d rather cater for themselves and their babies and so may not necessarily need a man, but for his surname.
Indeed the End of Time is near and a lot of recent happenings point to this fact. In Noah’s days, men wined and dined when they heard the warnings. You can not repeat their mistakes, prepare yourself while there’s time.
Have a blessed day.
