Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
I had a friend back in the University who used to talk much about her humble background. She could almost assure me each time that she was the one destined to alleviate her family from their present conditions.
She kept believing in it and kept saying it. She wouldn’t stop. Today, I see her and remember her words. She has not given her folks a life but made her parents’ lives more luxurious.
The philosopher said “death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Which of these fruits do you desire? Life or death? It’s all in your mouth.
For every situation you find yourself in, would you rather speak life into it or condemn it further. So much power is inherent our mouths. Decree a thing and it shall be established. You already have that power, what are you waiting for? I pray for our eyes to be opened thus far.

It is very true, there is Power in our mouths, we cannot rise above our confessions therefore we must be careful as to what we release (say) out of our mouths. Positive words will yield positive results. God will make our confessions come true in Jesus ‘ name. Amen!
