Proverbs 5:15, 18-19 KJV
Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
[18] Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
[19] Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
King Solomon has some very sound teachings for the married in this chapter of Proverbs. Very interesting read. He describes the lips 💋 of an immoral woman as a honeycomb.
Not only would she make you mourn till your flesh and body are consumed (v11) but she’ll make you regret not heeding to the counsel of your teachers (v12-13).
Drinking from your own cistern as he puts it in verse 15 is even more blessing, and in our time is devoid of health casualties. God is pleased with the man who sticks to the wife of his youth and is satisfied with her breasts alone.
Embracing the seductress is merely a sign of lack of vision and just like Solomon himself, such a one shall die in the greatness of his folly. Let’s keep our focus on our families 👪 and celebrate health and life together.
Have a blessed day.
