Psalm 92:1-2 KJV
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

[2] To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

I read a story a few days ago, written by Rev. Fr. Anthony Mario Ozele, about a blind boy who begged for coins at a corner on the street. He held an inscription that said ‘blind boy.’

A man passed by and dropped a few coins into his hat, took the boy’s slate, wrote something and left. That day the blind boy got lots of coins. Next day the man came over again and the blind boy recognised his footsteps, so he asked him, “what did you write?” The man answered, “Today is a beautiful day but I can’t see it.”

There are a lot of reasons to be thankful to God for. We need to bless God for the 10 reasons why something is good and not frown over the one reason why the same thing is bad.

A persistent pain has been in my head for sometime now. I’ll begin to thank God that it hasn’t worsened, rather than complain about it’s presence. You should do same because God is pleased with a thankful heart.
