Psalm 29:1 KJV
Give unto the Lord , O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
Majority of people prefer younger spouses or partners when they’ve had to choose between two or more. I’m not surprised that companies generally prefer strong youthful and energetic staff to older ones.
All over the world in every institution, a substantial percentage of the driving workforce is youthful.
No wonder King Solomon admonished us to remember the Lord in our youthful days (Eccl 12:1). Why would we think God prefers us when we are much older?
It is not very prudent to postpone or defer active service to God to a later time in your life. God also likes good things! He wants you to give your strength and your glory, and that’s why He addresses you as, “O ye mighty.” (see intro verse)
Indeed God doesn’t despise the old 👵. He only wishes to do more with us while it is still day. “For the night cometh, when no man will be able to work.” Let’s take a stand to put our energies to some good productive use in His vineyard.
Have a blessed day.
