2 Chronicles 30:10-11 KJV
So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
[11] Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
Hezekiah had commanded a spiritual revival of Israel and Judah and he sought to do the things that had been abandoned since the time of King Solomon.
But usual of every group of people, when he sent out messengers to every town, some of the people laughed and scorned at them. They just couldn’t be corncerned about a revival.
You may always face opposition when you set out your heart to do some reparation. It could be for yourself, for your house, workplace or even your neighbourhood.
Some people will always laugh at you and scorn, not because they don’t believe what you are doing is the right thing…but because they themselves couldn’t champion that cause.
Never be moved by them!
Hezekiah, Nehemiah and even Isaac ignored such people wherever they met them and they prospered, so can you. Take advantage of the times and embark on your own spiritual reparation. You need it!
Have a blessed day.
