1 Chronicles 16:37 KJV
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:
I like one of the Responsorial Psalms we used in church last year (2014) taken from Romans 11:29, ‘The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.’
I believe one such call is the ‘Call to Worship.’
David had returned the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, after a brief spell in the house of Obed-Edom.
Suffering a little casualty (death of Uzzah) in the first attempt, David was bent on getting it right this time. He accompanied the entourage with Worship.
As we see in the verse above (i.e. 16:37), this did not stop even when they got to Jerusalem. It continued everyday!
Each of us believers, is called to Worship, and we can’t afford to deprive our souls from connecting with Him everyday via worship.
Lift up your hands each day and cause some incense to rise unto Him from your chambers, through worship.
He’s already expecting it, what are you waiting for?
Have a blessed day.
