These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel.

It is interesting to know that scriptures kept record of a good number of the people who helped David to be successful.
There was a first group called “The 3 Mighty Men” and there was ‘The 30’ as well. Other valiant men were also named.

All these were loyal to David and played a very significant role in ensuring that the Word of the Lord concerning David, came to pass. They chalked a lot of successes all in the name of David.

Every one of us who desires to make it to the top would definitely need some ‘mighty/valiant men’ by your side. They could be your divine connectors or people on whose shoulders you can find comfort or solace.

But the responsibility to identify such still remains yours. No man is an island.
My prayer for you is for God to help you locate your mighty men and above all help you bond in well with them, for your own good.
