Joshua 8:7 KJV
Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the Lord your God will deliver it into your hand.

A ‘comeback win’ is so sweeeeet, especially when you are on the winning side. In one memorable match I watched in 2004/05 Arsenal was trailing Middlesbrough by 1 – 3 at the half.

T. Henry got a hatrick and Dennis Bergkamp got a another to seal off a 5-3 win. I can still remember how jubilant I was that day, taunting my Man United n Chelsea room mates.

I believe this was the mood in the camp of the Israelites when they went back to defeat the people of Ai.
It is important to note that Joshua used a strategy borne out of their initial defeat to triumph this second time.

Developing a winning strategy from a previously failed attempt is a godly and wise move.
God has a message for every one of his children in any bad situation and we need to be alert enough to notice the learnings and use them to our advantage.

Have a blessed weekend.

  1. Hmm…
Invariably some Humans don’t learn from their past and mistakes. They ironically say let the past be behind You and forget what the “dogs” have eaten and save the rest which is left.
Forgetting that the rest left can always be saved by developing strategies from previously failed attempts in saving the WHOLE.Life is not a plane figure
    It is very isometric
Many bearings and magnitudes climaxed with many pot holes along the path. As your car cruises on the road it falls in one hole or another.
And if left uncovered ur car will fall into the same pot hole on that same path.

Infact developing a winning strategy from a previously failed attempt is a godly and wise move
