2 Corinthians 4:16 KJV
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Age has an inverse relationship on our physical bodies. I clearly remember seeing Cristiano Ronaldo play that first game for Manchester United over a decade ago. His energy and exuberance to do more was just enormous. He just wanted to do more each time he had the ball. He was reckless too.
With time he would push the boundaries and become the best in the world for a good number of times.
If Cristiano and his colleagues had their way, they’d have stayed youthful for the rest of their lives… but certainly that was not meant to be. After peaking, comes the decline, then the body just can’t take it no more!
According to Apostle Paul, the reverse is true of the spirit of the saved man. While we age in the spirit, we get stronger and stronger. It’s a daily renewal affair so we become evergreen each day, like a tree planted by a river, whose fruits are always in season.

My prayer is for you to wax stronger in the LORD, renewing your spirit daily by making a conscious effort to connect to Him. This consistency is what breeds and sustains the newness we speak of.
Get refreshed today, He is waiting on you!
Have a blessed week.
