Acts 2:37 KJV

Now when they heard this , they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
There’s the usual initial desire to go all out for the Lord, but this desire is not sustained. Sooner than later it takes a nosedive, like my football career.

The people asked Peter, “What shall we do?”
For some, it’s a burning sensation within that makes them restless until they yield. I like to call these moments ‘An Encounter.’

But what really happens after the Encounter. I know too many people who haven’t  made good with their Encounter.
When people give their lives to the Lord or re-dedicate their lives, it is usual to find out that they heard a Word/Message that “pricked” their hearts.
We all need to remind ourselves of our individual Encounters and ask what we are doing to keep the fire alive. How good is your Encounter today?
