Daniel 9:4-5 KJV
And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
[5] We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:
While in exile, Daniel chanced upon some of the written prophecies of Jeremiah the prophet. Realising truly what had brought the Jews where they were he felt a huge sense of responsibility on his shoulders.
His disposition never was “why have our fore-fathers done this?”…but rather “We have sinned…”
He assumed blame for what he never did, so he could find reason to pray!
I’ve talked with many people who tell me sometimes they don’t know what to pray about. But reading and learning from the likes of Daniel make me believe one can always find a reason to pray, no matter what.
Develop/Improve your prayer life to the next level. You have been where you are for far too long. Get into motion and find reasons to pray.
Have a blessed day.
