Isaiah 54:15 KJV
Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
These latter chapters of Isaiah are very pregnant with hope and so make reading much fun. Yet verses like this very one make me think a lot about a other messages I’ve heard in the past.
Because of Job’s account, most people have concluded that God always consents even to the negative happenings in our lives. This could be true to some extent, yes, but Isaiah reveals another twist to it we probably never looked at.
You must know that there are a number of queer meetings/assemblages for your sake, in which God does not sit nor is He consulted. But glory be to Him that in all of these we are not consumed.
In fact, all such meetings fall at the end, even without our knowledge, when we remain faithful to the Lord. They’re all taken care of behind the scenes. Keep your relationship with him alive to keep enjoying some of these lifetime benefits. 😉
Have a blessed day.
