Proverbs 8:32, 35 KJV
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

[35] For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord .

The Philosopher personifies wisdom and gives her so many attributes that it would be hard to miss her. One such attribute that struck me this morning is stated in verse 35.

Too many people are familiar with the quote, “he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord,” but I wonder how many have substituted the word ‘wife’ for ‘wisdom’ and have realised the quote would still be scriptural.

Wisdom is a principal thing and those who hate it are only professing their love for death. Neither can you claim wisdom for yourself if you do not demonstrate it in your deeds.

If anybody else, apart from Christ, has been with God since creation and has seen a billion generations, it MUST be wisdom.
Wisdom does not only tell of our level of maturity, but a clear sign of how much time we spend with God. Seek wisdom, it is the principal thing.
