And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not appeared unto thee.

About a month ago, I saw an episode of a popular Series, titled “Rings of Power,” where a little girl (harfoot) by name Nori, witnessed a blazing🔥 comet/meteorite fall from the skies. She walked straight into the crater it had created to satisfy her curiosity.

Indeed, when her curiosity had been satisfied, she hid what she found from the rest of her kind, for fear of not being believed. She had gained enough notoriety for peddling rumours and wandering in places she isn’t expected to be.

Like Nori and Moses, we too may have gained little reputation that may prove inimical in spreading the Gospel. Our focus on the many failures and disappointments we may have brought to those who know us, shatters the confidence or what is left of it in us.

But today, the LORD promises to be with us (Ex 3:12). He certainly is with you in this regard, irrespective of what has happened before. He will make you like a god unto those who hear you and His Word will go forth from you to accomplish a purpose. So go, go, go and declare Him to the people.
