Jude 1:8-10 KJV
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
[9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
[10] But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Jude’s instructions are straight forward, lacking any form of ambiguity whatsoever. He wouldn’t waste time on those who were maligning the Christian faith. See his comments on the devil (v9).
Too many of us give much attention to our detractors. We speak about what they do and the approaches they use, in the process we give more attention, mileage and fame.
The Archangel Michael rebuked the devil (v9) without accusations, no time for that. For that is the very modus of the devil himself.
Let’s solve our problems within our churches at the root levels, without glorifying the problems and giving honour to those who cause them.
Have a blessed day.
