THE OX OR THE CRIB – Thu, Oct 29, 2015

Proverbs 14:4 KJV
Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.

I know one koko seller in Osu who worked with a little girl she had adopted. She treated the little girl very badly, never said anything good about her and so the little girl was always doing one punishment or the other.

I would always ask my friend who lived in their house, why the koko seller still kept the girl. “Just return her to her folks,” I’d often remark.
Some years later the koko seller gave birth to a boy, but he was autistic!

King Solomon made a profound statement worth meditation in the above text, Pro. 14:4. You cannot have a clean crib and yet want ox to live in there. Christians are not immune to this natural law. You cannot eat your cake and have it.

ALL our actions have consequences, we may get away with some most of the time but someday our deeds and words will catch up with us. At least heaven will ensure that.
Either you want a clean crib, or a bountiful harvest, think about it.

Have a blessed day.
