Job 38:18-19, 22-23, 31 KJV
Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
I couldn’t just wait to hear God speak, after all the comments that had come from the different people, i.e. job and his friends. And man, see the sheer display of God power. Who else can speak when God speaks.
The list is endless. I couldn’t help but read this chapter a number of times this morning, even in different translations. He alone knows where He hides the snow and the hail till they are needed….can you imagine.
I’m sure Job was utterly speechless as these questions were thrown at him by God. Even a colossus of righteousness like Job himself was nothing before the LORD of Hosts. What a God we serve!
We may not be like Job but I tell We are the righteousness of God, meaning we the Saints militant are better of than all these people and we have this Same God’s backing all the time.
Arise my brother and rejoice for the Lord of Hosts is with us.
Have a blessed weekend.
