Isaiah 37:7-8 KJV
Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
Indeed there is a time for everything. Sometimes there really is no reason to fight at all. Sometimes there’s just no need to waste resources in order to protect what you have.
Israel and King Hezekiah were in a time when the talk of the town was King Sennacherib and his Assyrian army, plundering down anything that stood in their way. Nothing survived, except who/what they wanted to. So their threat on Israel was a real one, no one took it lightly… none, except the LORD of Hosts.
Impossible situations need a God of impossibilities. Israel never lifted a finger to fight this Assyrian Army. They only woke up to hear that 185,000 soldiers failed to wake up. How? They had no clue how! Jehovah Hamassiyah took care of the challenge. It wasn’t theirs to fight.
May Yeshua Ha-Mashiach come through for you and take care of your battles before you even realize it. I pray He recognizes your predicaments, and moves in your favour before you know it, bringing down any power intends to bring you shame and misery.
Have a blessed day.
