ADVANTAGE YOU – Fri, Jan 29, 2016

advantageIsaiah 55:6 KJV
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

This chapter of the book of Isaiah has many verses that are very common and almost like clichés. Talk of verses 1, 2, 8, 9, 10 & 11. Yet today, I find v6 very deep.

Why would Isaiah say call on the Lord “while He is near” or seek Him “while He may be found.” Is God ever going to get lost or disappear? Will there truly be a time when you as a person may not find Him even when you look for Him?

Really, your only chance to do anything worthwhile for Christiandom or for yourself is while you are still living. Death also comes like a thief, very unexpected and you may not know how much you could have achieved for God until you’re probably gone.

So your real and only chance to seek God and do His bidding is now, because you may be no more at a point, NOT God. He isn’t going anywhere. At this point, it’s advantage YOU (as applied in Tennis)

Have a blessed Friday.
